- Tree Roots: Portland’s greenery is beautiful, but roots often intrude into underground sewer lines.
- Grease and Oils: Common in kitchen sinks, especially in older Sellwood and Hawthorne homes.
- Hair & Soap Scum: Frequent offenders in bathroom sinks and showers.
- Non-Flushable Items: Wipes, cotton swabs, and hygiene products create stubborn blockages.
- Aging Pipes: Historic neighborhoods like Laurelhurst and Irvington often face buildup or corrosion.
When these problems strike, our affordable drain services in Portland, OR ensure your system gets back to working order fast.

I have known this company for over 25 years because they were my account when I was in the insurance business. But have never needed their services. Well my garbage disposal died and the first company came to my mind was d&f plumbing. Nathan arrived and diagnosed the issue. He came back the following day and installed a new one. Not only did he do a fantastic job he gave me some discounts cleaned up after himself and even helped me change a burned ou bulb. What a surprise. Yes they were on a higher scale but it really puts me at easy with their guarantee. Way to go Nathan. I would recommend him again and will definitely use d&for plumbing if need be in the future.

Oleg came out to do maintenance on our HVAC system. Once he knew where all the mini-splits were located, he went right to work. He checked to make sure the cooling and heating worked properly. The outside units were also taken care of. Oleg was so much more thorough than the last company that came to service our HVAC.
Thanks Oleg!

Nathan did a very professional job. He was patient and methodical in the installation of my steam room stream machine and plumbing. He also did clean and professional work to cut into the sheet rock to replace hose bibs that had the frost protection and had to be replaced from inside the wall. Excellent plumber. Friendly

Everything about our experience working with D&F Plumbing was exceptional. From the quick text response to my online request and courteous and informative call with Anne, I was so glad I contacted a locally owned company. Shawn let us know exactly when he would arrive and was very professional and provided great service. He was even super nice to our dogs. Our unpleasant plumbing issue was made so much easier with such great care and excellent service from everyone at D&F.

I was completely and absolutely impressed with D&F Plumbing from the second I placed the call. The receptionist (real person! Not AI!) was charming, friendly, and personable. She felt like an old friend. My technician Nathan was confronted with a complicated situation only an old house can give and he handled it professionally and thoughtfully. He even agreed to look at a few other plumbing puzzles while he was here; he was so very helpful. He came back the very next day (!!) and completed the job in a few hours. I was honestly amazed. Well done to everyone at this company.

I called D&F plumbing to fix my kitchen sink. Brad the project manager answered the phone and listened and really took the time with me. I always appreciate talking with a person vs an answering service or robot. Brad sent Nathan out to do the work on my sink. Nathan even came out extra early to make sure I didn’t have to be late to work. Nathan explained everything he was going to do to my kitchen sink and talked me through it. Nathan explained the part that was needed and how the part worked. He even put down tarp to protect my floors. Nathan and Brad the project manager really put a lot of heart, care, and help in working with me to get my kitchen sink safe and working again. A day later and under my sink is still clean and dry! Everything is working great. They are my go to for all my plumbing from now on , worth every cent!

Jason Reid came today to look at my water heater. He was a competent pleasant man who knew what he was doing. He was upfront in his diagnosis of my problem and didn’t try to find other non existent problems. He helped me do a couple things I couldn’t do myself. (Not enough strength or height). I appreciated his willingness to help. I would recommend D and F plumbing. They have been around forever and take care of both Oregon and Washington customers. Jason is a keeper. I’m old enough to be his grandma and it’s my birthday.

Advanced Drain Cleaning Services We Provide
Hydro Jetting Service
For the toughest clogs, hydro jetting blasts pressurized water through pipes, removing grease, scale, and even tree roots. Unlike snaking, hydro jetting leaves pipes virtually like new, making it the gold standard for stubborn drain issues.
Sewer Line Cleaning & Video Inspection
With video camera inspection, we pinpoint the exact cause of blockages in sewer lines. This prevents unnecessary digging and ensures we recommend the right fix — whether that’s simple cleaning or sewer line repair.

Our rooter machines cut through roots, hardened grease, and other tough obstructions. This service is especially effective for homes in tree-lined neighborhoods.
